thanks michael - they are a bit fashiony (if that is a word) - i dont really think they are portraits though - its taking me a while to get to the core of showing enough personality as well as ensuring that they are clean shots, hair, makeup etc we will see
I really like the bottom one, and I'd say it's definitely a portrait, more-so than the other ones if you're worried about it. There's some kind of different emotion going on within it, it's more personal. I think it appears to be a lot less constructed and as if she's not playing a role, rather just being herself. Nice work.
thanks jake. im just trying to find the balance between having a sort of 'clean' high key shot, which has a certain feel about it and then at the same time creating a portrait which says something about the nature and characteristic of the person I mean the girl in the image is very reserved and laid back; half the shots from the shoot were of her crouched inwards and shying away from the camera.. anyways, high key is proving to be quite the task...

I find these to be less like portraits than the later ones I dont seem to get as much of a story from these as I do the other ones. well lit though
